The sun is shinning, the volcanoes are showing off and the presence of God is undeniable.
This past weekend we went on our annual fall retreat to the mountains. We laughed and cried, sang and danced, played games and had a blast, but most importantly we heard from God, decisions were made and lives have and are being forever changed. Heaven got a bit more crowed this weekend, but that is a place that always agrees with the saying...the more the merrier.
Our beloved friend Chuy came from Mexico City to be with us this past weekend and be our retreat speaker, accompanied by his wonderful wife, Gaby. Chuy is incredibly talented at preaching the gospel to young people in a relevant and understandable way. He loves God with every part of his being and it is evident in his words and deeds that he is a faithful disciple of Christ. It was great having the both of them around this weekend to share with our students their lives and all that Christ has done in and through them. Many students got real with God and made decisions to put him first in their lives from this day forward!!!

In the afternoon we climbed the nearby mountains and enjoyed the blessings of God in the people and nature he had put around each of us for the weekend.
We have a month and a half left to go in the semester. Time flies when you are having fun and impacting lives eternally. The next five weeks we will talking about...Grace, Obedience, Guilt, Humility and Joy. Pray our students will get a better understanding of these words and a clear direction as to how they apply to their lives daily. Then we will be putting our student leaders in charge of a week at El Pozo before we present the Christmas message and finish up the semester. God is stirring up hearts and changing lives through El Pozo. Thank you for your part in it all and please continue to pray for us daily.
